The prompt given to us for the second paper was about the relationship between science and art within our future career or current discipline. Professor Emerson wanted us to focus on our opinion of the type of relationship the arts has with our discipline of interest.
For my paper, I chose to write about how art is a common language between the general public and marine biologists. A big focus of my paper is talking about how marine biologists are working with artists to get their findings out to the public in a way, the people understand, so, that we are able to do something about climate change and saving the ocean.
