Observation Two

After a few days of posts and stories on Kiwi Eco Box’s Instagram, there was one post that managed to get over one thousand likes and 28 comments (pictured below). I believe that it received such a high interaction because it is so relevant among a range of ages vs. only one group. Including the fact that fast fashion is one of the most problematic industries in the sustainable world because so many people buy these clothes then toss them out as soon as it is out of style. Kiwi Eco Box is informing the individuals that may not realize how bad the abundance of clothes that are being produced is. They provide the audience with better sustainable options than buying the latest fashion that will end up in landfills or thrift stores.

The comments on this post consisted of praise to the company for sharing what everyone is thinking. There was also one follower who added additional information that may help people realize that not everything they bring to the thrift store is able to be resold. The company replied back to the person letting them know they will bring this point to the conversation of living more sustainably. Essentially showing their followers they are open to receive more information and topics they may want to talk more about.
