Why It’s My Best Advice

I believe this is my best advice because not many people realize they can take a minute when they are lost in their speech instead of apologizing and seeming a little unprepared. I found that it was rather helpful for Jack to hear because the next time he delivered the speech he used less “uhs” and “ums” and when he lost his spot he just breathed for a few seconds to recollect himself before continuing. I think the advice I gave him made him more aware of what he was saying when giving the speech rather than trying to get everything out and not leave a moment of silence to collect his thoughts.
