Observation Eleven

It was Indigenous Peoples’ Day yesterday and as an eco-friendly and zero waste company they wanted to educate individuals on the concept of creating their own lip balm. They provide the ingredients and the amounts of each, including a vegan version. They made it seem more inclusive by mentioning it is an activity you could do with kids or for yourself. One of the posts is about seeing if Aldi truly is one of the most sustainable supermarkets there is. While they were hopeful, the owners were quickly disappointed because only 10% of the fruits and veggies were not covered in plastic. With this in mind, the commenters were very disappointed and even seemed slightly angry over the matter (pictured below are the comments). The latest posts were of low waste bathroom swaps people can make and saving energy in terms of switching off the light. The followers were happy to mention they have a small collection or don’t even use certain products. Kiwi was happy they do use some of these products and were curious as to which of them they do use. One of the commenters even said also unplug things that are not in use as well which the company praised.

Over the weekend the company as a business wanted to let their customers know that there were three days left to receive an October Kiwi Box. While also mentioning, due to the amount of pollution in the ocean we consume roughly a plastic credit card worth of plastic every week.
