Just over a week ago Kiwi Eco Box posted a tik tok they had made about checking out the sustainability of Aldi and on Tuesday they posted one about Trader Joe’s. They mention how surprised they were seeing products other supermarkets don’t offer and actually giving the customers the choice between plastic wrapped packaging or not. They finish off by saying good job to Trader Joe’s but they can still do better. The company went to their story to ask their followers what grocery store they want the company to assest next. With Halloween right around the corner they posted the trendy white sheet ghost picture with a sign that asks people to ditch the cheap plastic costumes. All of the comments were agreeing with the company and one praised the company on it’s “cute post with an impactful reminder. Nothing scarier than harming the planet more.” Then today they wanted to educate the public on what seafood has the highest amount of microplastics to which most of the commenters were surprised.
