Jane Eyre QCQ #4 Part 2

I decided to look at Shaylee’s and Hannah’s QCQ #4 as I do not usually talk to them when we are in class when it is time to share.

Looking at Shaylee’s post I like that she picked out how women are expected to be tranquil but just like men women need action too. This makes me think about my own post because I talked about how Jane felt compelled to be one way from her schooling. But once she realized that the world is so much bigger she doesn’t have to be pinned to one behavior. I feel like we took our QCQ’s in similar directions because we talk about Jane breaking out of the stereotype during this time and deciding to take action for herself as she is a person just like men.

Hannah talks about Mr. Rochester desquising himself as a gypsie and even though he is out of the norm Jane is still drawn to him in a way. I like this specific viewpoint Hannah decided to take with her QCQ because it focuses on a side character that draws the main character into his shinanigans but it shows how she still has her own mindset that allows her to kind of discern herself from slipping back into form.
