Observation Five

Since the last time that I have poked around Kiwi Eco Box’s Instagram feed, they have posted pictures of other brands’ products such as Skittles, Crocs, and McDonald’s. Each having a different tone as Skittles’ post was about it coming out with a “Just One” Skittle with a big disappointment in their caption. The company hopes that it is just a joke as well as the individuals who commented saying it definitely has to be or that it’s a fake product. While this post was disappointed and worried the post about the crocs was supportive and cheerful as “Crocs shoes are going bio-based.” In which they go on to mention as of next year all Crocs shoes will be made of Ecolibrium technology that is made of materials that came from renewable resources and waste products. As for the McDonald’s post, it is rather informative as they mention how Ukraine is one of the first McDonald’s areas to begin recycling everything they are selling (containers included). The caption included information given by the @Macdonaldsukraine account about the sorting customers will go through when “throwing away” their trash as many of the containers are made of different materials. The comments in both the Crocs and McDonald’s posts were very supportive and loving as they appreciate big companies actually changing their way.
